Choose Your Vehicle
Begin by selecting a South African car, whether new or preowned, from our extensive network of dealerships. Find your desired vehicle on cars.co.za and our skilled team will negotiate the price on your behalf.
Get A Quotation
Receive a comprehensive CIF quotation from our team, including a prompt VAT refund offered as a reduction to your overall cost.
Invoice and Payment
Happy with your CIF quotation? We will present you with a comprehensive proforma invoice that outlines the financial and logistical details of your vehicle’s journey.
Upon review and approval, kindly complete payment and forward proof to us.
We will then reserve your chosen vehicle with the dealership by placing a nominal holding deposit.
Get a Dealership Quote
Following receipt of your payment, any required documentation will be provided to the dealership by us. An official purchase offer and invoice will then be given to you.
Payment and Vehicle Insurance
After the dealership confirms your payment, we will kick off the export preparations. During the whole shipping process, your vehicle will be insured and protected under our Motor Policy.
Marine insurance for ocean freight will be quoted separately, but our coverage will remain active until your vehicle is secured in it shipping container.
Export Preparations
During preparation, our team will carry out the vehicle inspection and smoothly process any required documentation and exports permits.
Please inform us ASAP should you require any additional documents for the export process.
Logistics and Dispatch
Goldstar will schedule a booking on a car carrier and provide you with comprehensive booking confirmation outlining the shipment. Following preparation of all required documents, paperwork and permits, we send (via email) the required export documentation to both you and your local clearing agent, ensuring seamless collaboration.
The original documents as well as any valuable items such as keys and remotes, are then sent to you through a reliable courier service, complete with a tracking number to allow for real-time monitoring and peace of mind.
Delivery and Arrival
As the final destination approaches, both Goldstar and your local clearing agent will reach out to you and provide the specific details of the vehicle’s arrival. Your clearing agent will ensure a seamless delivery by handling the processes before arrival.
